Recommended Skill Analysis Task
Stage: Identify the stage of the skill that is exhibited (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert).
Stage Characteristics: Describe 2-3 features of the movement on the video that is characteristic of the stage identified.
What to Change: Identify and describe the most important aspect of the skill that will need to be changed for the subject to improve.
Cue: Write the single most important verbal instructional cue to help the performer improve.
Call for Contribution
Comments on individual video clips are encouraged, especially in the form of analysis of the subjects' technique.
Video contributions to this project are also welcomed. Use the contact form to request details on video uploads and participant consent forms.
Purpose
This project has the following primary purposes: (a) to provide video of subjects performing sport skills at varying levels of expertise as a medium for teachers, coaches, and students to practice movement analysis, (b) to provide video demonstration models of sport skills and games for learners, teachers, and coaches, and (c) present a platform for the professional community to contribute video and dialog to more thoroughly accomplish the aforementioned purposes. Stage characteristics: Runs downfield, watches for ball, smooth catch, tucks well first time, overall good demonstration of skill
What to change: Needs to consistently tuck ball, second time doesn't tuck

Stage: Intermediate/expert
Stage characteristics: Athlete exhibits good stance and arm placement as well as the abilitiy to reach out, pull ball in and tuck appropriately.
What to change: Receiver spends too much time with eyes on quarterback he should have a greater knowledge of the reception point.
Cue: Know the route and reception point.
PES 294 Receiver Catch
Stage: Expert.
Stage Characteristics: Player started in competitive stance, ran while looking for ball over shoulder alwasy keeping eye contact and concentration. Also, hands were extended to meet the ball with thumbs up and touching creating a pocket.
What to change: The player executed this skill flawlesly.
Cue: General cues could be " Catch and tuck" and "Chest high thumbs up"
