PES 294, Skill Analysis

Stage: Expert

Stage Characteristics: First Player was quick off the snap. He quickly turned and sidesteped to increase his reaction time. He showed a proper 3 step grapevine, then he planted his back foot to increase his control when throwing, which would then lead to the throw. The second player showed similar skills except it was like he was moving in slow motion.

What to Change: The second player is moving slow. He needs to move back quicker and plant his foot faster so he is back and able to throw in a shorter amount of time.

Cue: For the second player a good cue would be "Reaction Time" because he needs to speed up his movements.

PES 294 Three step drop

Stage: Expert.

Stage Characteristics: Player exhibits advanced interpretation of skill. Two hands were on the ball and the shoulders, elbows, and ball were all high and ready to throw. Feet were quick and ended planted ready for a strong accurate throw.

What to Change: There was a small bit of herky jerky motion out of the snap.

Cue: For a quarterback reminding them to "keep the elbows high" will bring their arms and the ball in the right ready position to throw.
