6202 Backwards roll as spotter
Stage: The first guy spotter Intermediate. Girl spotter novice
Stage characteristics: First spotter – crouches down, knees bent ready to assist, pull through or steady athlete. Second spotter- does not bend knees places herself in unsafe position, is not ready to receive athlete.
What to change: First spotter – remove hat as it can cause unsafe consequences. Second spotter – stand to the side knees bent ready to move in any direction whether to support athlete or avoid being kicked.
Cues: First spotter – safety first. Second spotter – bend knees crouch down to the side.
