Foot work
All together I think that she has good footwork that will work during a match. However I have a few things to point out. I think the reason why it seems like she has to rush to where the shuttle possibly is, is due to her ready stance. At all times a player must be in an athletic ready stance, which is on the balls of your feet and knees slightly bent. This way your ready for any position of the shuttle.
Stage: intermediate
Stage characteristics: 1. the proper footwork; moving the bodies center of gravity towards the direction of the shuttle. 2. The racket is held in proper position, ready to recieve a shuttle. As well as proper follow through 3. The grip on the racket is correct as well. She changes it up for both forhand and backhand swings.
Change: what I would change is the ready postition, stay on the balls of feet at all times, that way your quicker and you can get to the shuttle easier.
Cue: Stay on the balls of your feet.
Badminton
Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: Knees should be bend to have a faster response and in order to be able to change direction quickly; racquet should be held shoulder height; racquet should be held away from the body
What to change: Racquet head should be held shoulder height and not in the downward position as we see on the video;
Cue: Racquet away from the body
footworkd
Stage: intermediate
Stage characteristics: good use of taking one step to get to shuttle cock, knows when to use back hand and forehand.
What to change: Ready stance, would move faster if she returns to a ready position after each hit. Racquet is held to low, needs to be above waist.
Cues: ready position, racquet position
