This project has the following primary purposes: (a) to provide video of subjects performing sport skills at varying levels of expertise as a medium for teachers, coaches, and students to practice movement analysis, (b) to provide video demonstration models of sport skills and games for learners, teachers, and coaches, and (c) present a platform for the professional community to contribute video and dialog to more thoroughly accomplish the aforementioned purposes. Stage Characteristics: He caught the pass Keep his eyes on the ball.
What to Change: Keeping the ball away from your body
Cue: Catch with your hands not the body. Do not trap the ball Cradle the ball.

Stage Characteristic: Hands ready, arms outstretched, but still uses body to help “catch” ball
What to change: Needs to catch the ball with his hands and then tuck instead of simply catching against his body

Stage Characteristics: Player watches the ball all the way in, and then tucks it away.
What to change: Player needs to use hands to catch the ball.
Cue: Use hands and keep eyes on ball.

Stage Characteristic: The reciever does a good job of keeping his eye on the ball all the way into his hands. He also does a good job of absorbing the balls momentum making it easier to secure the catch.
What to Change:I would try to catch the ball at the highest point so the defense cant make a play on the ball.
Cue:Go up and get the ball dont wait for it
PES 294, Skill Analysis
Skill: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: Reached out slightly to catch ball. Hands were in good position (diamond shape). Didn't watch the ball go into his hands. Caught ball, but caught it to the side of his body instead of to his chest which would help to avoid dropping the ball.
What to Change: Player needs to watch the ball as it moves toward him and then also as it goes into his hands. Should catch ball into chest if it is an option for more control and to help avoid dropping the ball.
Cue: "Eyes on ball"

Stage Characteristics: He didn't extend out to catch the ball with his hands. He could have steped toward the ball instead of stepping back.
What to change: Step to the ball, extend his arms and then tuck the ball in.
Cue: Watch the ball into your hands

Stage Characteristic: Because the player watches the ball into his hands and catches it smoothly. He tucks the ball safely into his arm.
What to Change: Demonstrates proper catch.
