Improvement

8. Serve
Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics:
1. Tosses ball up
2. Swings hand back then forward
3. Hits ball and extends arm forward in follow through
What to Change: One major improvement is for the guy to use his whole body during serving. He needs to lean his upper body back when he goes into the toss and hit. He needs to swing his body forward more too when coming in contact with the ball in the air. He could also use his hips more to get more power.
Cue: Use hips
Use whole body
Back and forward motion of body during hit

Stage:

Stage: Beginner/Intermediate

Characteristics:
He shows how to perform an overhand serve at the right height to get it over the net.

What to change:
He needs to block (pull) with the left arm so more power goes into the serve, and have a longer drawback--he barely gets behind his shoulder

Cue:
Use the momentum of your body to get energy into the ball.
