Recommended Skill Analysis Task
Stage: Identify the stage of the skill that is exhibited (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert).
Stage Characteristics: Describe 2-3 features of the movement on the video that is characteristic of the stage identified.
What to Change: Identify and describe the most important aspect of the skill that will need to be changed for the subject to improve.
Cue: Write the single most important verbal instructional cue to help the performer improve.
Call for Contribution
Comments on individual video clips are encouraged, especially in the form of analysis of the subjects' technique.
Video contributions to this project are also welcomed. Use the contact form to request details on video uploads and participant consent forms.
Purpose
This project has the following primary purposes: (a) to provide video of subjects performing sport skills at varying levels of expertise as a medium for teachers, coaches, and students to practice movement analysis, (b) to provide video demonstration models of sport skills and games for learners, teachers, and coaches, and (c) present a platform for the professional community to contribute video and dialog to more thoroughly accomplish the aforementioned purposes. Shot
Stage: Beginner
Stage Characteristics: Shoots with two hands, feet aren't set, uses his arms to shooth the ball.
What to change: Needs to be low in a shooting position,need to shoot with one hand, needs to use his legs and not his arms.
Cue: Get the ball in the shooting pocket.

What to change: Need to have backspin and follow through

10. Shot
Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics:
1. Ball in both hands
2. Ball brought up with hands
3. Ball released in air towards basket
What to Change: The player has three things he needs to change. The first major thing is to catch the ball while in the air. This will improve his footwork going into the shot and make it quicker. The second thing he needs to change is that he needs to shoot with one hand, not both. The third thing he needs to change is to follow through with his shooting hand.
Cues: Catch ball in the air
Release ball with one hand
Hand in cookie jar (follow through)
