Tripod Analysis
Stage: Expert
Stage Characteristics: The performer does a good job placing his elbows so that they are on the inside of the thighs. He transfers his weight slowly and under control until the forehead touches the mat.
What to Change: The performer could change his hand position so that fingers and hands are positions more forward. Right now they are slightly turned so that the fingers point away from the body. By bringing his hands and fingers more forward or even positioning them so that they are slightly pointed into the body will help the student with balance.
Cue: Keep wrists straight so that the hand and fingers point directly forward.

He did great at setting himself up for a tripod headstand by positioning his hands forarm distance apart and then placing his medial thigh on his posterior triceps.
If he wanted to continue from "crow" position into a headstand, he would need to place the superior portion of his head on the ground instead of his anterior side.
