Recommended Skill Analysis Task
Stage: Identify the stage of the skill that is exhibited (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert).
Stage Characteristics: Describe 2-3 features of the movement on the video that is characteristic of the stage identified.
What to Change: Identify and describe the most important aspect of the skill that will need to be changed for the subject to improve.
Cue: Write the single most important verbal instructional cue to help the performer improve.
Call for Contribution
Comments on individual video clips are encouraged, especially in the form of analysis of the subjects' technique.
Video contributions to this project are also welcomed. Use the contact form to request details on video uploads and participant consent forms.
Purpose
This project has the following primary purposes: (a) to provide video of subjects performing sport skills at varying levels of expertise as a medium for teachers, coaches, and students to practice movement analysis, (b) to provide video demonstration models of sport skills and games for learners, teachers, and coaches, and (c) present a platform for the professional community to contribute video and dialog to more thoroughly accomplish the aforementioned purposes. Stage characteristics: the player had a good stance while maintaining their eye on the ball. She maintains control as well as movability of the ball.
What to change: A little quicker on thepass avoid the hesitation and back step.
Cue: Set and pass the ball quickly.

Stage Characteristics: Cushioned ball with thigh, keep eye on the ball, and had good posture when receiving the ball.
What to change: Nothing really, but I think her knees could have been bent a little more

Stage characteristics: The player sets up to recieve the ball nicely and is in position to make a good quick pass.
She uses her thigh to reduce the balls momentum and allows her to set up for her pass.
What to change: She could pass the ball harder allowing it to get to her teamate earlier.
Cue:Pass the ball quick
Receiving
Stage: Expert
Stage Characteristics: Player does a great job of being prepared to receieve the ball. She handled the ball well and got it off fairly quick.
What to Change:Being able to get the ball off quicker as soon as it is controlled.
Cue: Be quicker once ball is recieved and get it off faster.
Receiving
Stage: Expert
Stage Characteristic: Player does a good job thinking ahead and plans on where to recieve the ball, successfully gains control, and sends the ball off quickly.
Change: Make sure to move toward the ball when receiving. On the first attempt player moves back slightly when recieving the ball, however it may have been necessary to receive the ball where planned.
Cue: stay forward
Stage: Expert Stage
Stage: Expert
Stage Characteristics: Catching the on the fly and trapping the ball with her knee. Controls the ball to the ground and gives a controlled pass.
What to change: Nothing, is already advanced in the skill.
Cue: "get the pass off quick"
