Recommended Skill Analysis Task
Stage: Identify the stage of the skill that is exhibited (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert).
Stage Characteristics: Describe 2-3 features of the movement on the video that is characteristic of the stage identified.
What to Change: Identify and describe the most important aspect of the skill that will need to be changed for the subject to improve.
Cue: Write the single most important verbal instructional cue to help the performer improve.
Call for Contribution
Comments on individual video clips are encouraged, especially in the form of analysis of the subjects' technique.
Video contributions to this project are also welcomed. Use the contact form to request details on video uploads and participant consent forms.
Purpose
This project has the following primary purposes: (a) to provide video of subjects performing sport skills at varying levels of expertise as a medium for teachers, coaches, and students to practice movement analysis, (b) to provide video demonstration models of sport skills and games for learners, teachers, and coaches, and (c) present a platform for the professional community to contribute video and dialog to more thoroughly accomplish the aforementioned purposes. Elizabeth Wood PES 294 Kick
Stage:
Beginner
Stage Characteristics:
Ball is not stopped before kicking; it is not adjusted, and is kicked with the toe.
What to Change:
Stop the ball, adjust, and focus on where to kick the ball.
Cue:
Stop and adjust

Stage Characteristics:
1. Approach ball
2. Contact ball with foot
3. Follow through with kicking foot
What to Change: One major improvement would be for the player to keep his feet on the ground. This will improve contact with the ball. Player also needs to lean forward with upper body in order to have better aim.

Kick
Stage:Beginner
Stage Characteristics:When player is about to hit the ball the both his feet leave the ground not giving him a solid strong kick. At this angle i cant tell if he uses the inside of his foot but looks like it.
What to Change: Need to keep back foot on ground to have a solid kick and use inside of foot.
Cue: follow through with the ball.

Stage Characteristic: Feet leave the ground as ball is kicked. Does not make solid contact with ball.
What to change: Keep feet on the ground to improve contact with the ball and kick accurately in the direction you wish to go.

Kick-For PES 294
Stage: Beginner.
Stage Characteristics: Child leaves both feet on contact and follow through of kick and lofts the ball straight up which is un-characteristic of a experienced player.
What to Change: Child should keep back foot on the ground through contact and follow through. Child needs to kick through the ball to increase accuracy and reduce flight.
