Stage: The stage of this skill being perfromed is intermediate.
Stage Characteristics: 3 features of a lay-up would be ball placement on back board, knee drive, and arm extension all in sequence.
What to Change: One thing to change in this movement, is the athlete needs to jump or take off with thier right foot instead of left foot. This allows the left arm to extend and the left knee to drive up in the air, enabling the correct technique for a lay-up.
Cue: Left knee drive!
