Comments

Stage:Advanced Stage

Stage:Advanced
Stage Characteristics: The shooter has a good stance and shoots the ball without jumping. His arm is pointed at the basket as soon as he is done shooting
What to Change: make sure that you are in a straight line as u shoot if u move one way or another u are going to miss the the shot.
Cues: straight to the basket throughout the shot

Freethrow

-Stage: Intermediate
-Stage Characteristics:
1) the shooter had good Balance
2) the shooter had fairly good form
3) the shooter held his follow through
-What to change?
He bent his knees really well, and he held is follow through, but on his shot his shooting arm traveled more across his body than it should. On the shot, his arm shoot be directed straight at the basket for a more accurate shot. Also, his hand on the follow through wasn't fully flexed. When your "hand is in the cookie jar" the ball gets more rotation, which makes for a softer shot, and gives the ball more of a chance to go in.
-Cue: On the shot, make sure your hand is IN THE COOKIE JAR.

Free-throw

Stage: Intermediate

Stage Characteristics:
1. Lined up with the basket.
2. His shot was smooth and he had a good follow threw.
3. Good form at the end.

What to Change: Each person has their own way of shooting a free-throw. I don't know if I would change anything, because if the his free-throw shot is working for him, why change anything that can make his shot off.

Cue: Breathe and follow threw
